Job description
Our client, a leading FTSE 100 Insurance company is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the Financial Reporting division. This interesting and varied role will give the successful applicant the chance to assist in the preparation of the monthly accounts and reporting packs and an excellent opportunity to develop their skill set and experience. Key Responsibilities include: completion of daily/monthly reconciliations; supporting the business areas in the clearance of reconciling items through the production of monthly liaison packs; preparation of monthly journals and accruals; assisting internal/external auditors with queries. This is an excellent opportunity for either a Graduate (with a relevant degree) who is looking to gain experience in Accounting or someone with experience looking to add value to a blue-chip organisation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital. You will also have excellent analytical and advanced Excel skills.
