Job description
Are you an immediately available Accounts Assistant currently looking for a new role? If you can answer yes to this question, then we may have the ideal role for you. Due to continued expansion, my national client is currently looking for a new recruit within its Accounts team to strengthen the function within the business. Initially for two weeks, this role could also become permanent for the successful candidate if they make the desired impact. The ideal candidate will need to be experienced in working within accounts with a proven track record within bank reconciliations and dealing with high volumes of purchase ledger invoices. Experience of using Sage Line 50 is also essential. Candidates will need to be a strong team player with excellent written and spoken communication skills with a can-do attitude. Job description: daily/weekly bank reconciliations, including foreign accounts; posting of purchase ledger invoices; raising cheque and BACS payments on purchase ledger; reconciling supplier statements; dealing with supplier queries; analysing and posting petty cash claims; analysing and posting expense claims; analysing and posting credit card statements; checking and inputting weekly timesheets; assistance with weekly payroll; filing experience of Sage Line 50 essential.
