Job description
An Office and Finance Manager is required to join a small, Government Funded consultancy, based in Oxford. With its influence spread across the south-east, the business provides commercial services within the public sector. The role is to provide finance support to all areas of the business including the preparation of management accounts with variance analysis, production of appropriate documentation for audit, assisting in budget preparation, credit control and liaising with the payroll bureau. Administrative support to Senior Management includes recording business activities, ensuring legal compliance, maintaining HR file, updating health and safety policies, operational assistance at events and taking minutes. You should ideally be AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/ACMA, with a good general knowledge of IT and Sage Line 50, administrative experience at a senior level, and preferably a public sector background. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic, and able to work both in a team and on their own initiative.
