Job description

Our client is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to work with the current Accounts Payable team in managing daily operations. The individual who takes this role will be experienced within all Accounts Payable functions and will need to be a team player. The team is responsible for ensuring all internal controls around the processing of supplier invoices and expenses are met, whilst adhering to both operational and reporting deadlines. This is a busy Accounts Payable role that involves high volume invoice processing. Your core responsibilities will include: processing invoices and credit notes to ensure the end to end process is guaranteed and the suppliers get paid on time; dealing with invoice/credit note enquiries; review & comment on aged creditors report; dealing with VAT issues & support VAT team; investigating debt balances; statement reconciliations of supplier accounts; process all staff expenses; meeting deadlines. We are looking for an individual with experience in Financial Services, who is hard working and can meet deadlines and work as part of a team.
