Job description
An exciting Retail organisation based in Middlesex requires a self-motivated Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join its growing team. The role and the organisation offer a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on candidate who likes to review and reform processes and procedures. Duties of the role will include: identifying and improving systems and cash flow; improving the claims and disputes procedures; working through a backlog of historical accounts receivable queries and issues; allocating cash; chasing invoice payments; reconciling the AR, including self billing; closing the UK AR at the end of every month; producing month end reports such as bad debt, discounts etc; maintaining and updating the customer ledger; preparation of cash flow forecasting; managing risk exposure; assisting the FC. The successful candidate will ideally have recent experience of the Oracle system and the retail sector. Good communications skills are essential as is the ability to liaise with all levels of staff and be able to introduce change. Accounts receivable experience is essential as is a hands-on approach and a willingness to take on a challenge.
