Job description

To help us meet the many challenges that MedImmune’s new horizons present we have an opportunity for an Accounts Supervisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

You will be responsible for daily bank reconciliations, including monitoring cash levels, liaising with the bank and the preparation of the cheques to be paid in. Processing weekly payment run to suppliers, UK & overseas. Managing the PL team, prioritising workload where necessary. Assisting the Financial Accountant with VAT return plus any other ad hoc tasks. Managing company credit cards, including issuing, cancelling, increasing limits etc. You will have regular interaction with Team Leader in Purchasing to ensure the invoice process runs smoothly between both Finance and Purchasing.

You should be IT literate with experience of using IFS or a similar type of ERP system; have people management, leadership and strong communication skills, be well organised with attention to detail and accuracy being key to the job.
