Job description

Our client, based on the outskirts of Preston, is currently looking for a second in command to help assist the Manager of their Treasury department at head office. The role will involve supervising a team of six Banking Clerks on a daily basis and include monitoring their KPIs, dealing with escalated problems and conducting appraisals. The role will also involve overseeing the reconciliation of all cashbooks, supervising the daily banking and processing of all BACs payments as well as being responsible for the daily cash balance sheet and the month end accounts being reconciled. In order to apply for this role you should have experience of reconciliation work, banking, cash allocation and good man management skills. Additionally the ideal applicant will have excellent leadership skills, be highly motivated to produce quality work and adept at working to deadlines as this is a fast-paced and demanding role.
