Job description
This role will suit someone who wants to work for a bank that is recognised as No 1 in a number of investment banking disciplines. This would possibly suit an ACA from the Big 4 or someone with strong valuations experience gained within Investment Banking M&A. Job description: the role itself is varied and you will cover: fairness opinions, solvency & capital adequacy opinions, valuation opinions; fair value reporting, derivatives valuation & risk management, investor advisory services; dispute resolution & financial expert opinions, distressed company/asset valuations. You will actively participate in the valuation process through developing valuation models and performing rigorous quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis and research. Your primary activities will include: designing and drafting client deliverables; constructing and reviewing valuation and other financial models; analysing financial statements; researching industry conditions and developments; analysing acquisition and divestiture transactions and various attributes of publicly traded and privately held equity, debt and derivative securities; assisting with marketing initiatives. Key requirements: this would suit an ACA from the Big 4; experience of valuations and good modelling knowledge; French would be a bonus but not essential; the ideal candidate is motivated, creative and outgoing, and possesses strong financial analysis skills. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory, and excellent analytical, verbal communications and written communications skills. Reference number: DAR/2983672.
