Job description
My client is a well established SME which is an award winner in their field and is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their company. You will report to the FD and provide accounting support on a day-to-day basis. You will be responsible for the accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit control, bank reconciliations and assist in the month end duties. There is scope for the role to develop and for the individual to take on more of the management accounting duties and more responsibility within the Accounts department. You will be an experienced Assistant Accountant used to working in an SME environment with strong accounting skills. You will be either qualified by experience or AAT qualified and have a flexible working approach. You will be a team player and able to work on your own initiative and have strong communication skills. Experience of using Sage Line 50 would be an advantage but not essential.
