Job description
Our client, a £10m turnover business with aggressive growth plans, currently seeks to recruit an Assistant Accountant to work closely alongside the FC. It is looking for an individual who will take responsibility for: bank reconciliations, BACS payments, payroll (including end of year returns), P11Ds, fixed assets, filing monthly VAT returns, monitoring credit control, posting sales ledger and bought ledger. Further opportunities exist for involvement in cash flow forecasting, budget setting, journal entries, accounts production and working alongside the FC to continue to improve the Accounts function within the group. The ideal individual will be actively studying towards their AAT or be AAT qualified and looking to continue their studies towards the ACCA/ACMA qualification or equivalent.
