Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join an established Finance team on the outskirts of Gloucester. Reporting to the FC, your role will be varied and rewarding. Your main responsibilities will include: producing accounts to trial balance; maintaining the daily cash sheet; general ledger and key account reconciliations; preparation and submission of VAT returns; completion and submission of Intrastat returns; accruals and prepayments; maintaining various spreadsheets and detailed financial overhead schedule. You will be immediately available or on a short notice period as this role is available on a temporary to permanent basis with an immediate start. To be considered, you will ideally be part-qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and have a significant experience within a similar role. You will be experienced in Microsoft Excel and Sage Line 500 with excellent attention to detail. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and flexible individual who is looking for an Assistant Accountant role within close proximity to Gloucester.
