Job description
Working for an established client based in Gloucester, this role is for a fixed-term period of 12 months with an immediate start. As the Assistant Accountant, you will support the Finance Manager in all aspects of US GAAP reporting and producing management information. Your key responsibilities will include: completing balance sheet reconciliations; supporting the Reconciliation Reporting process; quarterly reporting; processing monthly journals; producing monthly MI explaining movements in the results; supporting the evolving business structure. To be considered for this Assistant Accountant role, you will be a part-qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with previous reconciliation experience preferably gained in a Financial Services environment. In person, you will have excellent communication and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
