Job description

Our client, a successful Gloucestershire based Manufacturing organisation, has a new requirement for a confident and commercial Assistant Accountant. This is a key role within the Finance team and responsibilities include the analysis and reconciliation of controls in respect of UK and US subsidiaries, entailing frequent liaison with finance staff both locally and overseas. The principle objective is to support and maintain the General Ledger for the business and this will include assisting in the preparation of management accounts and all associated month end reporting and analysis. Other duties will include assisting in the preparation of the UK tax pack and statutory accounts information, fixed asset registers and overseeing both the sales and purchase ledgers for 3 US subsidiaries. This role will suit a part-qualified Accountant who is wanting to complete their qualification and ideally has previous experience within an international organisation plus excellent IT and interpersonal skills. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join a busy Finance team and progress their career.
