Job description
Our client, a highly successful and progressful market leader in their chosen field is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their ever expanding finance function. Reporting directly to the Senior Management Accountant and liaising with other senior members on a regular basis, this is a cracking opportunity to get exposure to all areas of the business. Key responsibilities for the role include: assisting in the preparation of month end; preparation of daily and weekly analysis; preparation of variance analysis including budgeting and forecasting for all business areas; assisting with the balance sheet reconciliation including the P&L margins. The ideal candidate will be a part qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) or a fully qualified AAT, coupled with a strong academic background. You will be a confident individual with a strong understanding of excel (including Pivot Tables), and an ambition to qualify and progress in a progressive environment. Ideally you will have an excellent level of communication, being able to liaise effectively with senior members. Where UK qualifications are specified we will take into account overseas equivalents.
