Job description
A leading Investment Bank based in the heart of the City is keen to hire accounts Assistant. Duties: to record, analyse and pay invoices and employee expense claims; to assist with the preparation, interpretation, distribution and regulatory reporting aspects of the monthly and annual reporting requirements; to assist with the development of monthly Board reporting; to provide ad hoc management information as requested by budget holders or the post holder; to assist with preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, investigate variances and report to appropriate member of management committee; to assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts and tax; to prepare for and assist with annual external audit to ensure an entirely satisfactory status; to participate in and take responsibility for ad hoc projects in support of the FC, the Board, the Management team and External Auditors; to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all front and back office teams in London and New York. Skills: systems experience essential; sun accounting; Vision XL.
