Job description
An excellent opportunity has become available for a hard working and ambitious ATT Technician candidate in Preston. My client is one of the UK’s biggest businesses in their sector, established just 25 years ago they have grown substantially to become a £240 million turnover business and they have strong plans in place to ensure that they continue to be a key player in their field. They are currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be provided with full study support towards the CIMA and will be able to undertake a varied and interesting role that will include the following duties; assisting with month end close down of the sales and purchase ledger, assisting in the production of monthly management accounts, carrying out balance sheet reconciliations and producing profit and loss accounts. Candidates applying to this role must have completed their AAT Technician or be currently studying AAT Technician and you must have a keen interest in studying CIMA. Prior experience within a varied accounts role is an absolute prerequisite as you must be able to demonstrate practical understanding of accounts up to trial balance.
