Job description
Role responsibilities: full responsibility for various monthly local bank reconciliations for multi-currency accounts, including liaising with accounts payable in various locations; preparation of Month End Salary files and postings; assisting the Financial Accountant with the monthly close process including accruals, prepayments and general monthly postings; assisting the Financial Accountant in ensuring financial records are maintained in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley; implementation and on-going maintenance of fixed asset register and leasing register for various European entities; preparation of pass through recharges for month end, including invoicing and dealing with monthly queries; assisting financial accountant with preparation of year-end audit files & assisting external auditors; assisting financial accountants with Various Relevant Information requirements assisting in other Ad Hoc projects as required. Qualifications: part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA; industry experience in financial role, to include some accounts preparation; solid understanding of the Accounting principles; good Excel knowledge with good Systems experience; strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work on own initiative; work as part of a team.
