Job description
An Assistant Accountant required for excellent permanent role. Reporting to the FC, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of management accounts, VAT and Intrastat completions, journal production, preparing cash books and postings on the purchase ledger. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified and looking to study further, or working towards the early stages ACCA/CIMA qualification. You will be looking to take the next step in your career, have an out going personality and be able to work, and forge strong relationships across all areas of the business. Our client is a dynamic manufacturing and distribution business with an excellent central location. Following a recent acquisition, the need has arisen to strengthen the Finance team. The business offers excellent development opportunities and a long-term career path. Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
