Job description
An Assistant Accountant is immediately is required for a role in the South of Birmingham. The role will be an 8 - 12 month contract and will include the following responsibilities: monthly and weekly payroll; bank and balance sheet reconciliations; maintenance of the fixed asset register; month end accounts and other ad hoc duties as required. The successful candidate will ideally be studying towards a full financial professional qualification. You will have previous experience in a similar role and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial but not essential. Our client is a prosperous and highly reputable Manufacturing organisation located in the South of Birmingham. They require an immediately available Assistant Accountant for an 8-12 month period - if you feel you possess the relevant experience please apply for immediate consideration.
