Job description
Our client, an internationally focused listed business, currently seeks to recruit an Assistant Controller to work closely alongside the FD in a commercially focused role. Due to a recent restructure, the FD is keen to bring a new team member into the team to assist with the budgeting, forecasting and business plans for the division. Rather than preparation of management accounts, the role is more about reviewing actual results and monitoring these against the budget and the business plan. Planning, analysing and identifying areas of structural profitability improvement form key elements of this role. The successful individual will be a fully qualified Accountant with a well developed commercial acumen, backed up by practical experience. The ability to look forward at the bigger picture is essential.
