Job description
Macildowie is searching for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join a small team in South Derbyshire. This growing business has just confirmed a new lucrative contract and this replacement position will take on extra responsibility due to the increase in work. Responsibilities to be added to include: purchase ledger, cash and bank, payroll and VAT; preparation of monthly management accounts; accurate bank reconciliations to be completed within 3 days of month end; monthly reporting of cash analysis on Excel spread-sheet; budget analysis for discussions at monthly board meetings; monthly payroll to include timely payment of PAYE and NI; completion of year end returns; prepayments and accruals; internal audit and external audit preparation.
