Job description
An Assistant Financial Accountant is required to attend to the following duties: preparation of month end profit and loss and balance sheet accounts; maintaining the fixed assets register, balance sheet reconciliations; monthly preparation of statutory accounts. You will also have good Excel skills including V lookups. The candidate will be either AAT qualified or currently studying either ACCA or CIMA, with a varied exposure to both financial and management accounts. Fixed asset experience will be essential for this role. You will also have a proven track record and the ability to hit tight deadlines. You will be motivated, have the ability to focus on your work and have the ability to communicate at all levels. This is an exciting new role that has been created within this organisation, of which SF group is recruiting for exclusively. This can offer the right candidate an opportunity to obtain a varied role within an established business in Leicestershire. Study support can be offered as part of the package. Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
