Job description
An international general Insurance company has a newly created opportunity for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their UK arm. Reporting directly to the FD the roles key focus will be to ensure the accuracy & completeness of all accounting information for the UK operation, including both the branch and the service company. The key responsibilities will be: to produce various management reports and analyses of the accounting records; to proactively participate in projects or other initiatives designed to improve the effectiveness or efficiency of the Finance department; process financial information to the relevant accounting ledgers; cashiering; bank reconciliations; processing purchase invoices and personal expenses as well as other ad hoc duties. The role would suit someone studying towards a finance related qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) who is looking for long-term opportunity within a growing international company. You must have worked within Financial Services; experience within the Insurance sector being a key advantage.
