Job description
An innovative leader in their field has a requirement for an Assistant Financial Accountant being recruited exclusively through Robert Walters. In a team of three, your responsibilities will be: monthly overhead results and forecasts for inclusion in company reporting (profit & loss, cash flow and balance sheet); detailed overhead variance analysis and commentary for review by the Board and budget holders; fiscal pack; IFRS half and year end; assist in regular review meetings with overhead budget holders to review results and prepare forecasts; monthly accounting for company overheads to ensure complete & accurate reporting and forecasting of overhead costs, cash flow and operating capital for inclusion in company reporting; preparation of detailed overhead analysis and commentary for review by the board and budget holders each month. Experience wise, you must have worked for an organisation that operates multi-site, and demonstrate your strong communication skills and time management. You must be technically strong, and have a high attention to detail for production of reporting to group. You will have experience using an ERP based system, and advanced Excel skills; pivot tables, v-look ups. If you have any experience developing your own spreadsheets/reporting, negotiation skills with non-finance this will be favoured. Experience using Hyperion will also be favoured. You will be at Finalist level of your accounting qualification CIMA/ACCA/ACA (overseas equivalent) and have come either the AAT route/be a graduate. You will be rewarded with working for a worldwide group, with excellent offices and are very warm and stable Finance team.
