Job description
An Assistant Accountant is required to cover a maternity contract for a client of Mine in Birmingham. Your responsibilities will include: assistance in the production of monthly management accounts packs; preparation of journals and reconciliation work; maintenance of the fixed asset register; accruals and prepayments and ad hoc duties as required. The successful candidate will ideally be part-qualified studying towards full qualification in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent. You will have previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of Excel and financial systems. Our client is a prominent competitor within their market and is currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their established team.
