Job description
Reporting to the FD the role will involve the below: completion of the quarterly VAT return for submission to HM revenue and customs; preparation and finalisation of group reporting on a monthly basis for review by the FD and CFO before submission; production of the monthly management accounts; preparation of corporation tax information for review; responsible for implementation of and adherence to the key internal controls required managing the business unit effectively and complying with the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley; responsible for the completion of Sarbanes-Oxley processes; to assist the FD in the management of the centrally controlled finance function; the supervision of the purchase and sales ledger functions; updating and monitoring of the companies fixed asset register; assisting the Management team in the completion of regular verifications to ensure accuracy and completeness; production of the annual statutory accounts; assist the Leadership team with any ad hoc analysis; to assist the leadership team in the preparation of the Annual budget; to asses training requirements of staff through a structured performance review process.
