Job description

Our client, a rapidly growing Software company, is seeking to appoint a qualified Accountant to join its team as Assistant Financial Controller. This is a newly created role, brought about through continued growth and so represents an outstanding opportunity for the successful applicant to really make their mark on the organisation & drive their career forwards. The role has been created to provide higher level support to the FC and provide cover whilst she is away on business. Duties are wide ranging and complex and will include the management of the financial activities of the overseas subsidiaries and the preparation of associated management reports; assisting in the management of cash and treasury around the group: managing group invoicing and monthly revenue recognition and providing financial support to other business units/departments. The role offers the post holder the chance to immerse themselves in value-added projects such as implementing and managing a project accounting reporting system and the development of commercial information delivered across the business. Interested applicants will be qualified Accountants with previous experience of working within a growing, dynamic business.
