Job description
A £100m turnover Wigan based organisation seeks a confident Accountant to undertake an extremely varied role, encompassing the full month end remit. The role has a slight financial accounting bias and works alongside an experienced Cost Accountant however would be best suited to an experienced Management Accountant/Finance Manager with the ability to produce accurate monthly accounts to strict time frames. The successful candidate will report direct to the FD and enjoy high levels of autonomy. Candidates from a smaller manufacturing environment would be particularly well suited given the variety of the role and ad hoc nature of some of the anticipated projects. ACCA and CIMA studiers will receive support to continue to qualified level although those qualified by experience will certainly be considered. You will ideally: have experience of producing month end accounts pack; be robust and professional, comfortable in a manufacturing environment; have strong system skills and experience of using an ERP. The business are able to offer career progression if desired alongside their growing market share.
