Job description
A Utilities company based in Tyne & Wear is currently recruiting a Management Accountant to cover a period of maternity. This role will cover all aspects of management accounting, working alongside one other Accountant, reporting directly to the FD. In this role, you will undergo a 2-month handover ahead of the current Management Accountant's period of leave and you will have to attain responsibility for projects relating to investments, processes, and PPP work currently ongoing within the business. Ideally, you will be a fully qualified Accountant from a professional practice background and have some exposure to management accounting in the private sector from your career to date. This role is due to run for an initial 12-month period however it is hoped that upon successful completion of the contract, you will be offered a permanent position there.
