Job description

Overview of the client: established and respected company in the Leisure industry is seeking a bright and committed part-qualified Accountant to join their team. This organisation is a very well known and respected company in the Hospitality and Leisure industry. The sizeable Accounts department has an opportunity for a high calibre part-qualified Accountant with practical experience within Management Accounts. You will be working within a supportive team and will have regular contact with both financial and non financial people. Experience within a leisure or hospitality environment would be beneficial. Job description: ensure the flash, management accounts, year end statutory packs and budgets are reviewed, complete and delivered on time; coordinate and review the variance analysis for each set of accounts and include within the management account packs; ensure that a month end file is produced for each area which has been reviewed and signed off by the Group FC or Senior Finance Manager; attend the monthly meeting in a supporting role with the FD or the Group FC for each area; maintain fixed asset registers and post all depreciation and disposal journals; reconcile the fixed asset register; ensure all interest, loan movements, tax, bonus, CRL & CL fees are reported and posted correctly; complete the bank reconciliations and sign off; prepare, post and reconcile prepayments.
