Robert Half Finance and Accounting is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant for their client, a local authority NHS trust based near Denton in East Manchester. The position has come about due to internal promotion and for the right candidate this role could offer a permanent opportunity. The Assistant Management Accountant will ideally be studying towards a recognised qualification and have some previous NHS experience. The Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts; namely the production of budgets and the upkeep of the fixed asset register and inter-company (various subsidiaries the the NHS trust) reconciliations. You will be required to pull off reports using variance analysis and forecasting techniques. The successful candidate will need to be very hands-on and have the adaptability and flexibility to take on additional project work as and when requested. Offices are centrally located and can be found just off the M60. There is free parking on site. The hourly rate of pay for this assignment is from £12 per hour depending upon experience. The role is based in Denton, Manchester and offers free parking.
