Job description
An Assistant Management Accountant is required to accurately complete monthly accounts including prepayments and accruals. Reconcile all balance sheet controls, provide profit and loss analysis, creating, issuing and collating forecast and planning templates, review and challenge submissions and to undertake ad hoc projects to drive continuous improvement. You will be a part-qualified Accountant with an understanding of both UK and US accounting regulations including GAAP. An understanding of the manufacturing and purchasing environment within FMCG would be beneficial. Strong influencing skills are required to impart, gather and understand financial information as is excellent Excel and communication skills. Our client is a listed business with a reputation for providing quality products at cost effective prices. They operate in a fast moving & highly competitive sector where finance is regarded as a vital business partner. They operate in a rapidly changing commercial environment and need an individual who are comfortable operating in this type of environment.
