Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a well established business. Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of management accounts, preparing accruals and prepayments and analysis of sales revenue and cost of sales. Other duties include balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns and maintenance of the fixed asset register. The successful candidate will ideally be part-qualified CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) with a good grounding of experience in accounts. Strong Excel skills are also important, as well as the ability to communicate effectively. This company based in Oldham, is a leader in its market and has recently grown its business into new areas. They are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant who is still actively studying and looking for an opportunity to progress and allow him to qualify due to the continued support and training that the business provides. Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
