Job description
My client, one of the country's fastest growing consultancies is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join its Finance function based in Leeds. The Assistant Management Accountant will support the Management Accountant with all aspects of financial reporting, analysis of journals and intercompany journals including income statements, balance sheet, fixed asset, budgets and forecasts and statutory accounts. Duties will include: producing management accounts including preparing and posting journals; reporting of business costs and variance analysis; updating tax schedules; completing statutory returns; producing and reviewing monthly and year end balance sheet reconciliations; assisting with the production of audit packs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a similar role as an Assistant Management Accountant and be studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA). In return, the client will offer a generous salary along with study support for CIMA or ACCA and benefits package including pension.
