Job description
A leading Manufacturer experiencing high growth is looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Management Accountant. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the control of all transactions impacting on margin and stock to ensure all reports are accurate, consistent and timely. You will also be responsible for providing the business with sales/overhead information and supporting the Controller with month end. Duties will include: detailed analysis of sales and margin reports and resolution of variances, monthly analysis and control of stock movements and adjustments, preparation of daily, weekly and monthly sales reports, preparation of monthly overhead reports with analysis, producing monthly ad hoc management information and reconciling key balance sheet accounts. The ideal candidate will be part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent, have a strong background in Manufacturing, have extensive knowledge of stock and stock movement and use of an ERP package. Candidates must be driven and determined to provide a high standard of reporting and analysis and be looking to progress your career within a supportive and growing business. The role offers a salary up to £23,000 per annum depending on experience, plus study support, bonus, progression and 25 days’ holiday. You will be working in an excellent environment and will be working alongside like minded, progressive Accountants.
