Job description
Eden Scott’s client, an international Chartered Accountancy firm is looking for an experience Corporate Tax candidate to join its Scottish team. Based within Central Edinburgh the successful candidate will provide services to a mixed portfolio of clients covering tax advisory and planning, complex computations and compliance work. The role: managing a portfolio of clients, dealing with day-to-day tax queries; supporting Manager and Senior Managers on more complex cases; tax advisory work, tax planning work, discussing and advising clients on options; responsibility for planning compliance work and managing the process through to submissions; supervising and review of tax assignments ensuring workload and timeframes are met; involvement in tax audits liaising heavily with the Audit team. The candidate: qualified Accountant or a Finalist with a view to completing exams in the near future; extensive experience in a corporate tax position in a client facing role; excellent knowledge of UK corporation tax, with exposure to international tax issues a benefit; up-to-date technical knowledge.
