Job description
My client, a diverse business with aggressive growth plans, currently seeks to add an Assistant Project Accountant to its team on a temporary to permanent basis. With a direct reporting line to the Head of Project Accounting, this represents a rare opportunity to grow and develop within a solid and stable business, whilst learning the business model and its requirements. Working closely with the Project teams, your role will be to assist in the preparation of monthly project reports, producing reports on current status, future projections and variance analysis to budget. You will also be required to assist in the respective monthly accounts preparation behind those projects and provide monthly updated forecasts for all ongoing projects including comparisons to previous forecasts. This role will suit a part-qualified Accountant who is actively studying or an individual who is 'qualified by experience' and looking to progress their career. The role requires someone who is able to present and explain financial information to non-finance staff.
