Job description
Reporting to the Head of Finance, responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Monitor and reorder of retail consumables.
- Retail price calculations in multiple currencies.
- Analysis of retail sales data.
- Reconciling retail credit card receipts.
- Suppliers account maintenance.
- Assisting with month end journal preparation and posting.
- Posting of purchase ledger invoices to Sage general ledger.
- Assisting with the supplier payment runs including collation and subsequent posting.
- Preparing/collating the monthly staff expense claims for reimbursement.
- Support credit control.
- Bank account reconciliations and filing of all bank statements on a regular basis.
- Involvement in ad hoc projects and requests as required.
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA studier.
- Good PC skills - strong Excel is essential (PivotTable, Data Filters etc).
- Experience of Sage (preferably Line 50).
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and take on more responsibility.
- Good time management skills.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Flexible to work to and achieve tight deadlines.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff.
