Job description
Our client, based in South Leicester requires an experienced Assistant Accountant to join its team on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will ideally be immediately available, be AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA. Your main duties will involve the following: petty cash; cashbook and credit card payments; assisting in preparation of monthly management accounts; assisting in preparation of group accounts; assisting in preparation of year end; assist in payroll; maintain fixed asset register; assisting with purchase ledger and sales ledger; experience of Navision/Microsoft Dynamics an advantage and of Excel essential. In return, our client offers a competitive package which includes 22 holiday plus statutory. A discretionary bonus, death-in-service, pension and training will also be offered.
