An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Associate Partner to join this successful firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors and support the Directors in driving the vision and ongoing strategy.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the following areas:
- Management of a client portfolio of OMBs and limited companies across a range of Industry sectors.
- Work planning, setting and monitoring of budgets.
- Monitoring fee recovery rates, work in progress and client billing.
- Monitoring staff performance, job review and appraisals.
- Motivating staff to achieve high standards of output and delivery.
- Identification of specific staff development requirements and the allocation of work responsibilities.
- Driving business growth through proactive business development activity and generating new income streams by identifying specific needs of clients.
- Maintaining existing client relationships and spotting opportunities to develop new business.
We are looking for a CA/ACCA qualified professional with a demonstrable record of driving business in a practice environment. You should be a competent People Manager with a reputation for getting the best from people in your team. This is a key long-term appointment for the firm and you should be able to articulate your career ambitions in relation to this role. You can expect to receive an attractive package with bonus incentives relevant to your contribution to the firm. There is also opportunity to develop your career to Director level in time.
