Job description
This long established firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors has an enviable client base which includes exciting high growth private businesses in addition to successful Lancashire entrepreneurs and HNWIs. As a result of steady growth in its fee base the firm is now looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Senior who has the experience to plan, run and lead audit assignments. You will be given your own client portfolio and will be responsible for handling all aspects of clients accountancy requirements which will typically involve producing and presenting management accounts monthly and quarterly, preparing annual statutory accounts, ensuring tax work is completed on time and leading audits on larger clients. This is an autonomous role which will provide you with significant responsibility for client affairs and a clear opportunity to progress to Supervisor level where you will train and develop staff and review the work produced by a team. Ideally you will be part-qualified or qualified by experience but more importantly you will have previous hands-on experience of preparing accounts and leading audit assignments for clients up to c£15m t/o.
