Job description
A well known Derbyshire employer requires an Internal Auditor to join its large fast-paced business. Reporting to the CFO this position will no doubt add value to your future prospects due to my client's impressive reputation and history. This could be a great move for an exceptional individual looking to make their move form a Top 10/Big 4 Accountancy Practice. This role will require the successful candidate to: plan, develop and execute high-level audit reviews across the Group; evaluate the Group's systems of internal control; identify best practice & implement appropriate change; provide suggestions and advice to operating management regarding the maintenance and improvement of the internal control environment; compile written internal audit reports and provide an independent view of risk management and control. Candidates will be ACA/ACCA qualified with experience of working within a large, fast-paced changeable environment. You will have qualified within a Top 10 Accountancy firm and have experience in working for large PLC clients or in a large PLC business. A highly analytical approach is required as well as an ability to drive change, a keen eye for detail and a strong academic record.
