Job description
Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, a leading Insurance business is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to provide core objective assurance to all areas of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for: supporting the Internal Audit department through developing and implementing the Audit plan; reviewing risk management controls and procedures, internal systems and governance processes, ensuring correct evaluation and management of key risks; contribute and adhere to the existing internal audit and risk management methodologies of the business to maximise the impact of output; producing audit reports of a high standard, identifying objectives with the appropriate course of action and liaising with external 3rd party suppliers where appropriate. You will be a qualified Accountant or have a relevant internal audit qualification, with internal audit experience in Financial Services. Insurance experience is not essential, but a Lloyd's or commercial specialty insurance/reinsurance background is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have a proven internal audit track record, be an excellent communicator and have experience dealing with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
