Job description
Duties: to manage a portfolio of clients, including managing audit assignments, detailed audit file reviews, staff supervision and development whilst liaising closely with clients and partners. We are looking for a qualified (ACA, ACCA or ICAS) with PQE who is a commercially minded, ambitious individual. Has had full management responsibility for all aspects of an assignment which includes the planning, fieldwork, completion and is able to deal with the more complex aspects of an audit. An individual who has responsibility for monitoring and supervising staff is required. Who is looking to progress in a long established medium sized accountancy firm servicing a broad base of UK clients with international connections operating in a wide range of sectors. There is scope to also be given opportunities to work on ad hoc assignments such as due diligence work. My client requires you to have: a good working knowledge of UK GAAP is essential and IFRS is preferred; has a sound working knowledge of audits in the SME and OMB market; ability to ensure that all statutory requirements are complied with and their technical knowledge. Competitive Package is on offer. Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
