Job description
Reputable and well-known Norfolk firm, is seeking to appoint an Audit Senior, for their Audit & Assurance team. The firms auditing services delivers a thorough review of their clients accounting records, systems and controls. Their approach is based on developing a detailed understanding of their client's business and the financial and operational risks that it faces. They endeavour to make recommendations arising from their audit work to help their clients manage their business more effectively. Role to include: management of a portfolio of corporate clients (including commercial and Not for Profit); preparation and review of annual statutory accounts and corporation tax computations whilst working to stringent deadlines; all aspects of audit from risk based planning, undertaking detailed testing and review through to completion and production of audit reports to a high professional standard; supervision of junior staff members and assistance with their professional development; preparation of draft fee notes for approval, including comparatives to budgeted costs; attendance at client meetings and building of effective working relationships. To be successful in this exciting and progressive role you will need to be: ACA/ACCA qualified, with PQE; ideally experienced working with charities and Not-for-Profit sector; ideally be fully conversant in Charities SORP, UK GAAP and ISAs; have experience with Caseware; be ambitious, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
