Job description
The role: to support the Groups Assurance in delivering independent assurance by effectively planning & managing audit projects & resources; to plan, manage & deliver internal audit & ad hoc reviews for the groups businesses internationally; to ensure that all audits performed are rigorous, challenging yet relevant & appropriate to the business; as importantly, to ensure that the audit process is used to share best practice in the business, promote learning & development for Auditors & Auditees alike & contribute fully to the leadership development of high potential individuals from all disciplines. The role will entail a significant amount of international travel. This role is regarded as a development role with the potential to build relationships & management of assurance. You’ll be graduate, qualified Accountant or Auditor or have a combined technical & financial background. Skills/knowledge: an understanding of audit & risk management principles; excellent verbal & written communication - presentation skills; influencing/negotiation skills; understanding of key project management principles & methodologies; ability to analyse data & produce accurate findings & recommendations on the business process reviewed, based on facts & not pre-conceived assumptions; a deep understanding of business issues & drivers. You’ll be a qualified Accountant or Internal Auditor with relevant PQE. Our client is a global FTSE listed Manufacturing Group with head offices in the West Midlands.
