Job description
Eden Scott’s client a large Chartered Accountancy firm, is looking to recruit an experienced Audit Senior to join their busy and expanding public sector team in their Edinburgh office. Working within this busy audit department the successful candidate will be involved in both external and internal audit for a variety of public sector organisations. This role will suit an ambitious individual who is keen to develop within a leading public sector group. The role: delivery of audit services to a variety of clients, the majority from the public sector including local authorities, NHS, further education establishments and Central Government bodies; external and internal auditing services with systems/risk based external auditing; staff planning and supervision on audits, ensuring jobs are completed in the specified time frames; on site client liaison; drafting and presenting reports. Experience: part or qualified Accountant with experience in public sector external auditing essential; understanding of internal auditing; systems/risk based external audit experience gained from either public or private sector; excellent client liaison skills necessary; strong communication skills both written and verbal; happy to travel throughout Scotland when required, mainly the central belt.
