Job description
We are currently working for a Top 15 firm of Accountants based in Manchester, which is seeking an Audit Senior. Operating out of their prestigious offices in the City Centre, the firm has an exceptional reputation for staff welfare and progression opportunities, and is looking for an experienced Auditor/Audit Senior who will take responsibility for: the provision of on-site management of each audit assignment in an efficient and effective manner and in accordance with the firm’s procedures; act as a day-to-day point of contact for the client, ensuring client service levels are maintained; to provide adequate briefing, supervision and ‘on the job’ training for trainee staff. The successful applicant will be a qualified Accountant (ideally first time passes) from another Top 20 firm or mid-tier Accountancy firm, with experience of carrying out audits on behalf of corporate, non for profit, professional practices, pensions funds, charities and/or private clients. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional client facing skills and it would be desirable if you have experience of training and developing junior members of staff.
