Job description
Due to the continual expansion of this growing regional firm of Chartered Accountants they are seeking an experienced Auditor to join their progressive Audit department. Either qualified or with post qualified experience in audit the successful candidate will have a strong academic record, be commercially aware and be a confident communicator. You will be confident to lead audits for small and medium sized companies. The successful candidate may be coming from another regional firm or indeed a national firm but have the desire to take on more responsibility and have a speedier career progression than they expect within their current firm. Due to the structure within the firm, as well as audit, you will also get involved in more general accounting work but also some transaction work on your clients should the need arise as this would not automatically be transferred over to the Corporate Finance team. The firm is seeking someone who enjoys auditing in practice and wants the interaction with clients that is required. An excellent environment in which to broaden your skills.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
This position is being advertised by an employment business in the case of temporary positions and an employment agency in the case of permanent positions.
