Job description

Our client is a successful, mid-tier, independent firm of chartered accountants with a progressive and friendly environment and are located in modern, open-plan offices designed to encourage a supportive team culture Due to expansion we are recruiting on their behalf for an experienced Audit Supervisor , to manage all aspects of audit assignments including staff supervision You will have full responsibility for all aspects of an assignment which includes the planning, fieldwork, completion as well as dealing with the more complex aspects of an audit. You will have the responsibility for monitoring and assisting staff. There will be scope to also work on ad-hoc assignments such as due diligence work. To apply, you will be qualified ACA, ACCA or ICAS with sound knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, familiar with the SME market with strong auditing and accounting experience. You will have experience of supervising trainee staff whilst managing your portfolio and you must have worked for a firm of accountants with no less than seven partners.
